The open zones around the Leitner Thermal Hotel & Spa offer an activity holiday in its essence: The Acapulco pool with its diving platform and the water slide for the whole family, as well as the wave pool with its 60 cm high waves, is way above what is on offer in an average spa.

You will find the playground & sports field right at the thermae, where you can live out your fantasy and athletic skills. Relax in our new open air thermal pool with terrace, and in our underwater relaxation bay with air bubbles. Daydream to the fantastic play of colours in and under the water as well as the massage jets and relax to the underwater music.

Jogging paradise Loipersdorf

Loipersdorf is heaven on earth for running aficionados. There are four forest paths especially marked as the “running paradise”. They consist of a variety of route lengths (from 1.4 km to 5.5 km) and levels.

Hiking, Nordic Walking

There are nine different hiking trails through the natural paradise in the Thermal Region.

Energy-giving walking trail, approx. 1 km

You can find the energy-giving walking trail on the hill close to Thermae Loipersdorf Spa. There are about 20 energy-giving places with a total of 44 Waldviertel granite erratics. You can go through an almost 330 m maze, sit down amidst the ("Cheops") pyramid and realise that moonstone also shines during the day. It is, first and foremost, the stone table or dolmen that gives away energy and power. The characteristic features and properties of the stones are described in detail on signs.

Celtic Tree Circle Path approx. 2.5 km / 4.4 km

This is one of the most popular theme trails round the thermae. Encounter your date of birth on this 2.5 km long route on Lautenberg and enjoy the stunning far-reaching view overlooking the entire thermae premises. The second path (4.4 km in total) leads further through Edelsgraben back to the thermae via the runners' paradise. After an asphalt road (600 m) there are only meadows and woodland paths with "nice views".

No matter which biking trail you choose - the one for the ambitious bikers or the contemplative route – biking in the Thermal Countryside in Eastern Styria is a joy and pure delight in any case!

The network of biking trails in the Styrian Thermal Land leads you through an idyllic and diversified countryside totalling about 3,000 km. Detailed bike maps give you an overview about the bike trail routes, service spots and bike inns. However, do not miss the Thermal Land bike trail R12 (148 km), the Feistritztal bike trail R8, the romantic combination between thermae and Apfelland (apple land) and the dreamy Raabtail biking trail R11.
